Before I started training with Trish I had tried many different ways to lose weight and stay fit. I ended up yo-yo dieting and working out sporadically for 5 years. Additionally, I have a knee condition that hinders me from doing many exercises. Since I started training with Trish though, I have been able to lose 20lbs in 6 months while still going to university and working part time. We worked around the problems with my knees and got creative with the exercises I did. Trish taught me how to eat right, which meant a balanced diet that didn't eliminate anything. I am extremely glad that I have gotten to the point where going to the gym is not a chore, it is part of my daily routine and I enjoy it. I don't think I would have gotten to this point without Trish's constant encouragement. She is so dedicated to each of her clients and believes in them even when they don't quite believe in themselves. Out of all the people that I've trained with (there have been many) she is the only one that I believe cares about my success, she pushes me to do better, varies her workout so I don't get bored, and never lets me give up.

I started working out with Trish about 5 years ago. At that time, my exercise routine was minimal, and I was pretty flabby and out of shape. After a few weeks, I started noticing an improvement in my stamina and strength, and started seeing visible results within a few months. Since then, my body has continued to make positive strides in overall muscle tone, agility, strength, energy levels, and decreased body fat. I even lifted weights throughout my pregnancy which helped with labor and delivery and getting my figure back post partum. Most importantly, however, I feel GREAT--better now in my 30s than in my 20s. Training with Trish has kept me accountable to my workouts and given me confidence in my exercise routine.
Many women are intimidated by lifting weights and feel uncomfortable in the gym, but Trish does a great job giving instruction and encouragement. Whether you train with her a few times to learn different exercises, or make it a weekly commitment, you will never regret it.

Mine was the ultimate challenge. I was a stay at home Mom of two small children, while going back to school for Nursing fulltime. I found that I had little or no time for myself and the first thing that started slipping was my weight and stamina. I started feeling bad about myself and I was tired of coming last on my list of priorities. So, I ran to Trish for help. She had whipped me into shape three times before, for my wedding and after each baby. This time, though, I needed a life style change. And once again, she was there for me, creating a individualized workout plan to my schedule, supervising my diet, and encouraging me to take time for myself in the gym and at home. She has always been my best cheerleader, knowing that I have it within me to be there for myself. Sometimes all you need is a little support, someone to believe in you and give you that hand up, and that is what Trish does for me.
Six months later, I have graduated and started my new career as a nurse, after five years at home, and my eldest child has started kindergarten. But instead of being stressed out and falling further on my list, I am finally first! I am 24 pounds lighter and have more stamina than I know what to do with. Now I feel like I can be there fully for my family, because I have taken the time to be there fully for myself. I am proof that you CAN make time for yourself, and your health, when you are a wife, a mother, and a career woman!!

I have always been an active person, danced, cheered, played softball etc. I was working out (well mostly doing cardio with little to no weight training) when I decided I wanted to do better. I started working out with Trish about 4 years ago. After a month or so my body started changing. Even though I could get on the treadmill or elliptical and go for an hour, when I paired it with weight training with Trish I began to lose more weight, shed inches, tone and have more energy. She got me in tip-top shape for my 2006 wedding
My biggest challenge has come in the last two years. My husband and I conceived our first precious baby in Dec of ‘06 and at the time I was in good shape. I continued to work out with Trish until around May when my father passed away. At that time I was just physically and emotionally drained and didn't really work out. From the day I found out I was pregnant to the day I delivered I gained 58 lbs (that's right….58lbs!!!!) and weighed over 200 lbs total!!!! I had a big baby, but not a 58 lb baby. I truly thought that my body would NEVER get back to the way it was and that I could kiss my flat stomach goodbye….well I was wrong.
In the last 14 months Trish has worked all that baby weight off and then some! I am actually 7 lbs under my pre-pregnancy weight and can fit into my “skinny” jeans again. Working out and eating right are no longer things that seem like a hassle. With Trish by my side they have turned into lifestyle changes. She has taught me to look for good nutritional values in food and now I have a totally different relationship with food. Going to the grocery store or out to eat is totally different! Trish has been there for me every step of the way, encouraging me, pushing me, and truly wanting me to be better, physically and mentally. She is not only a fabulous trainer but she is a wonderful friend
